This story is an adaptation of a dream sequence from HYPNOGOGUE,
a Southern gothic horror novel in which the dark side of the Old South
revisits the lives of a modern couple who have migrated
from Memphis to Mississippi.
However, their big post-bellum home has more than old Southern charm
and they soon find out history once writ has frightful meanings for the past--and the future.
